These pendants were cast from original Roman ‘Spintria’ tokens from around 1AD. Widely presumed to be brothel coins or in modern terms ‘dancer’s dollars’, nobody really knows for sure what their use was. In the 21st century, I see them as amazing examples of ancient erotic art. Portable porn has been with us since the dawn of time.
