i was recently asked to make necklaces for twins. they decided they both wanted the latitude and longitude of their birthplace, tashkent, uzbekistan. i stamped the cordinates differently on each pendant creating the same…but different. photography: akila berjaoui.

this is a variation of the latitude and longitude ring.the ring features a 10mm round white broome pearl.the latitude and longitude stamped around the ring corresponds to where the pearl was farmed.i would like to continue this theme making rings with stones featuring the latitude and longitude of the mines from where they originated. i have in stock turquiose from the famous ‘sleeping beauty’ mine in new mexico. any takers?
